View
The right mouse button is used to move the camera. You use the Orbit camera for most 3D operations. For immersive environments, such as insides of a room, you can select the First-person camera.
Working with the camera
The default camera movement is Orbit style. Drag the camera pivot icon onto an object to set the camera rotation pivot point. You can also use context menu in draw window over object to set camera pivot. The First-person camera is useful for immersive environments. Drag the camera pivot icon into the scene to set the eye point at the approximate eye height for adults. The Reset View function will restore the model view to the extents of the current model. Saved ViewsThe current camera position can be saved and managed by selecting the thumbnail image from the Preview Strip. |
